Petaluma-Based Wedding Weekend
25–30 minutes from the venue, depending on hotel
Wine country, yet only 30 minutes from the coast! Petaluma is one of California's oldest cities, known for unique Victorian-era architecture, a foodie destination with many farm-to-table restaurants, and a thriving downtown with many boutiques and art galleries. Hotels: Hotel Petaluma (a Tapestry Hilton favorite of Haven clients), with guests overflowing at the nearby Hampton or Marriott in Petaluma.
Rehearsal: Thursday or Friday (couple's choice) — rehearsal at The Haven, followed by a rehearsal lunch or dinner along the coast (Hog Island Oyster Company, Nick's Cove, and Marshall Store are all casual and a fun guest experience).
Rehearsal Dinner, Downtown Option: Along the river/downtown Petaluma, walking distance to Hotel Petaluma — Seared, Risibisi, Cucina Paradiso, the Hotel Petaluma banquet hall, Hall of the Above, or Brooks Note Winery Tasting Room.
Welcome Drinks: Walking distance to Hotel Petaluma — Brewsters Beer Garden, Barber Lee Spirits, Crooked Goat, or McNears.
Breakfast: Della Fattoria (in person, delivered to hotel, or delivered to The Haven).
After Party: McNears, Mario and Johns, or another of Downtown Petaluma's many fun bars.
Next Morning Brunch: Hotel Petaluma Banquet Hall or Della Fattoria.
Logistics: Guests travel to Petaluma by rental car or the Groome Transport airport shuttle from SFO/OAK/STS. Uber/Lyft around Petaluma. Shuttles to the venue available depending on guest count — no shuttle size restriction.

Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Drinks: Drakes Restaurant and/or the Fireside Lounge, on-site at the Lodge.
Next Morning Brunch: On-site at the Lodge.
Logistics: Rental car recommended. Everything for wedding weekend "extra" festivities is hosted on-site at the Lodge, with Doran Beach within walking distance and coastal shops/seafood a short drive away. Shuttles to the venue available depending on guest count — no shuttle size restriction.

Tomales / Marshall / Dillon Beach-Based Wedding Weekend
5–10 minutes from the venue
If fresh oysters, fine cheese, and beautiful hikes are your love language, look no further! This area of West Marin is a favorite for outdoor-loving Bay Area natives — for good reason.
Hotels: Tomales Hotel (the closest hotel to the venue, 9 rooms), Nick's Cove (12 cottages), and Dillon Beach Resort (tiny homes). Local short-term rentals are also abundant.
Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Drinks: Nick's Cove, Hog Island Oyster Company, The Coastal Kitchen, The Marshall Store.
Next Morning Brunch: Route One Bakery (ask Tomales Hotel about hosting options).
Logistics: Public transit is very limited in the area — guests should expect to rent a car to fully experience the area's offerings.
